Hello Taco Loco fans!
Back in 1987, I opened Taco Loco here in Laguna Beach, California. Since then we have become embedded into the hearts of so many people who call Laguna Beach their home, as well as many people from all over the world.
Today I have some news to share with you; at the end of summer 2023, there will be one less taco shop here in Laguna. After thirty-six years of feeding the locals and visitors of Laguna Beach, it's time for the next chapter of my journey here on Earth, my next adventure.
Our last day in Laguna Beach will be September 30th 2023.
While this will be Taco Loco's last summer here in Laguna, Taco Loco isn’t going away completely. Once I’ve taken some time off to relax and unwind, I will be starting a food blog, along with a YouTube channel, and many of the recipes from the Taco Loco menu will be put into a digital cookbook that you will be able to download from our website. The magical blend of exotic spices that give my food its unique flavor will also be available for purchase online. So even after summer ends, you will be able to enjoy the flavors of Taco Loco.
We’ll be doing a lot of exciting things to celebrate Taco Loco’s last summer in Laguna, like Taco Loco merch, and possibly even a party on our last day.
The end of this summer will not be the end of Taco Loco, it will be the beginning of Taco Loco taking on a new form. There are so many other amazing things that I have planned, and I want to share everything with each and every one of you...
